MYA demands probe on referee Mahat
The Iceberg Madhyapur Youth Association (MYA) has demanded an investigation into referee Bikash Singh Mahat's "wrong decisions" during their match against Himalayan Sherpa Club in the Red Bull A Division League Football.
Saying that Madhyapur is ready to pay Rs. 200,000 as fine and a year-long ban slapped by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the club expressed dissatisfaction over ANFA’s unwillingness to investigate referee Mahat.
“We had asked ANFA to change the referee before the start of the match as we were suspicious of his decision," said MYA in a press statement, but ANFA has been reluctant."
MYA is relegated to B Division after losing 1-0 to Sherpa in their 15th match of the League. Nepalnews.com
