Govt approves guidelines to provide subsidy in LPG
As per the government plan to provide subsidy on the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for household purposes, the Financial Committee of the cabinet approved the guidelines regarding the plan on Wednesday. However, it is yet to get final approval from the cabinet.
The government has decided to provide subsidy in 12 cylinders per year for a family, as per the guidelines. However, a family will have to buy additional LPG in the open market if it needs more gas.
The customers have to procure ‘LPG Card’ in order to get subsidy in cooking gas, according to the guideline. Nepalnews.com
