MoAD, PAF sign deal to support rural farmers in agriculture
The Ministry of Agriculture Development (MoAD) and the Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF) have signed an agreement to coordinate for the betterment of the agriculture services targeting rural communities.
The deal was signed between joint secretary at the MoAD Ram Prasad Pulami and executive director of PAF Raju Babu Shrestha on Wednesday.
As per the agreement, both the parties will coordinate to provide means and technical supports in the farm related sector to the rural farmers.
Similarly, they will also conduct joint monitoring and review of the programmes to evaluate their effectiveness in the targeted areas.
PAF has been implementing the pro-poor programmes in some 40 districts mostly dealing with agriculture and livestock focusing rural communities. Nepalnews.com
