Int’l Wheelchair Day marked

The sixth International Wheelchair Day was observed in Kathmandu and elsewhere in Nepal on Friday.

On the occasion, Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Centre organised a wheelchair rally in the capital.

The rally was inaugurated by Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare Badri Prasad Neupane that started from Bhrikutimandap and went past Bhadrakali, Sahitgate, Bir hospital and Ratna Park.

The participants in the rally also urged the stakeholders to prioritise disabled friendly infrastructure. nepalnews.com
