CJ-led govt: We're on it, Dahal tells prez
Chief of the ruling Maoist party Pushpa Kamal Dahal called on President Ram Baran Yadav at his residence at Shitwal Niwas on Sunday morning to update the Head of state on ongoing negotiations to form a transitional government.
During the meeting, Dahal told President Yadav that inter-party talks would soon yield results and leaders are committed to forming an election government under the Chief Justice, an aide to Chairman Dahal said.
The President is learnt to have expressed concern that parties are still unable to forge consensus, weeks after the proposal to form a government under CJ Regmi entered the political debate. nepalnews.com
