FNCCI urges parties not to organise strikes
The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has urged the political parties, among others, not to organise shutdown strikes that have direct impact on the national economy.
As the it going to organise 2nd International Trade Fair 2013 next week, the apex body of the business community has urged the political parties to withdraw all kinds of protest programmes especially that coincide with the event.
The fair is going to be held at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from March 8 to 12. There will be nearly 350 stalls along with participation of international buyers and SAARC level business persons.
The federation expects some 200,000 visitors with transaction of Rs. 150 million during the five-day event. nepalnews.com
