Elections possible in June: Dahal

UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Monday claimed that Constituent Assembly elections are "quite possible" by mid-June.

"There are instances around the world of elections conducted with just one month of preparation whereas we have three months to go. Even election officials are saying preparations can be made in two and half months," Dahal said, speaking at a media gathering organised by the Revolutionary Journalists Association affiliated with the Maoist party in Dhading.

The Maoist chairman claimed that the only thing the parties are to resolve now is when the swearing in of the Chief Justice-led government should take place.
