A meeting of the UCPN (M) office-bearers held at party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal's Lazimpat residence decided to provide the relief aid from the party fund.
The Maoist decision comes after media reports that criticised Dahal for failing to provide relief aid to the victims despite making promises repeatedly.
People injured in the explosion and the relatives of the deceased had staged protest when Dahal was in Chitwan to inaugurate the Madi Festival last week.
Thirty eight people inside the passenger bus were killed and 72 others injured in a blast on June 6, 2005 in one of the worst attacks on innocent civilians during the Maoist insurgency. The Maoists had later apologised for the attack, saying it happened mistakenly. Nepalnews.com
