Lawyer arrested for trying to film court proceeding with hidden camera

A lawyer was arrested from Supreme Court premises on Tuesday while trying to sneak into the courtroom to film the proceedings especially the activities of judges.

Prabhat Kumar Gupta, 32, of Parsa was arrested when the court officials noticed his activities and complained to the security officials. Police said he seized a hidden camera from him.

His motives were not immediately clear.

Earlier, Gupta was jailed for "attempting to kill" the then Chief Justice Kedar Prasad Giri. Nepalnews.com
