Bangladesh beat NMI 4-0

Bangladesh defeated Northern Mariana Islands (NMI) 4-0 in their last encounter in the AFC Challenge Cup Group D Qualifiers in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Compared to the previous matches NMI improved their performance in today’s match as Bangladesh which had defeated Nepal by 2-0 could score only four goals while Nepal had secured 6-0 victory against them. Similarly, Palestine had defeated them by 9-0.

Mohammad Toklis scored two goals while Rony and Linkon netted one goal each for the winning side in today’s match.

Nepal have to beat Palestine by a three goal margin to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the next round of the AFC's second tier tournament to be held in the Maldives in 2014. Nepalnews.com
