Nepal defeat L.B Shastri club in T20 match
The Nepali cricket team, which is on tour in India, thrashed L.B Shastri Cricket Club by five wickets in a practice match in New Delhi on Thursday.
Nepal chose to field first after winning the toss. L.B Shastri scored 107 runs losing nine wickets in 20 overs. Nitesh Rana scored the highest of 52 runs for the home side.
Basant Regmi, Chandra Sawad, Manjeet Shrestha and Amrit Bhattarai took two wickets each.
Nepal easily reached the target of 16.3 overs losing five wickets. Subash Khakurel, Pradeep Airee and Paras Khadka scored 35, 29 and 25 runs respectively for the visitors.
Hiten Dalal and Siddharth Sehwag grabbed two wickets each for the hosts. nepalnews.com
