PM sets up scholarship fund in his mother's name

Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has set up a scholarship fund of Rs. 200,000 at Kanya Multiple Campus, Dillibazaar, Kathmandu, in the name of his mother Dharma Kumari.

PM Bhattarai handed over the sum to Campus Chief Bholanath Regmi at his official residence in Baluwatar Friday. Peace and Reconstitution Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi was also present on the occasion.

Meritorious students and those from poor families and remote areas will get scholarships from the fund. Nepalnews.com
