Roll back hike in transport fares: Oppn students to government
Various sudent unions affiliated to opposition parties have demanded that the government revoke its decision to hike public transport fares.
Eleven unions, including the Nepali Congress-aligned NSU and UML-aligned ANNFSU, have warned of staging protests if the government does not withdraw the decision by Monday morning.
The government had increased the public transport fares by 9 percent effective from last Friday.
