Truck-hit kills minor blocking road during Shivaratri fest

An eight-year-old girl who was blocking the road as part of Shivaratri tradition was killed after being hit by a mini truck (Ba 2 Khha 1498) at Ichangu Narayan VDC of the district on Sunday afternoon.

Nisha Tamang (8) was collecting money from people and vehicles passing by the village 'to raise money to celebrate Shivaratri', said police.
