Bolt kills two

Two people have died after being hit by lightning in various part of the country within the last 24 hours.

Durga Basnet (48) of Solukhumbu and Sumaya Gurung (22) of Saurpani VDC-9, Gorkha, died after they were struck by lightning on Sunday, police said.

Basnet's daughter-in-law Yasoda Basnet and her neighbours Bishwa Bahadur Khatri and Nar Kumari Khatri were also injured in the incident. Nepalnews.com
