CAN announces ACC Twenty20 Elite Cup squad
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced 14-member squad along with four alternative players for the ACC Twenty20 Elite Cup scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from March 26 to April 3, 2013.
The 14-member team has captain Paras Khadka, Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Amrit Bhattarai, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Gauchan, Sanjam Regmi, Binod Bhandari, Pradeep Airee, Anil Mandal, Prithu Baskota, Chandra Sawad, Manjeet Shrestha and Subash Khakurel.
Similarly, alternative players are Rahul Vishwakarma, Jitendra Mukhiya, Ram Naresh Raj Giri and Sagar Pun.
Nepal have been drawn along with Malaysia, Hong Kong, Maldives and Singapore in Group A while UAE, Afghaistan, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain are in Group B.
