President's office acknowledges 11-point package deal
The President's Office has acknowledged that it has received a copy of the 11-point agreement among four-major parties to form a government under CJ Khil Raj Regmi and the government's proposal to amend several articles of the constitution through a presidential decree.
In a statement, dated March 13, the President's office said the agreement was reached in view of the Head of State's call to form a consensus government under Article 38 of the Interim Constitution.
The office has, however, remained silent on appointing Regmi as the new head of government. nepalnews.com |
