The first meeting of Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi-led interim election cabinet on Thursday decided to stop the distribution of state benefits.

As per the decision of the three-member cabinet, state largesse will not be distributed to anybody without formulating clear guidelines.

Meanwhile ,the election government has expressed commitment to hold the Constituent Assembly elections in a free and fair manner and on time and has called upon all the political parties, civil society and the general public to create an election atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the government has directed the chief secretary and secretaries to ensure smooth supply of petroleum products. It has also directed the ministries to furnish their progress report along with future plan of action. nepalnews.com
