Cabinet decides to provide Rs 1 billion to NOC to ease fuel supply
The government has decided to loan Rs 1 billion to Nepal Oil Corporation to normalise the supply of fuel throughout the country.
A Cabinet meet on Friday evening took the decision in view of public complaints over the supply of fuel, said Minister for Home and Foreign Affairs Madhav Prasad Ghimire.
The meeting also decided to accept a loan of Rs 928.6 million from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to enhance the infrastructure at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
The meeting has also forwarded an ordinance related to the function, duties and powers of the Constitutional Council to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav. Nepalnews.com
