Home Ministry issues Holi warning
The Ministry of Home Affairs has warned that any individual caught misbehaving with pedestrians in the name of Holi will be arrested and
charged under the Public Offences Act.
The ministry's warning is aimed at curbing activities, including youth’s act of hurling of water-filled balloons at pedestrians, especially women, officials said.
Alarmed by the increasing pre-Holi misbehaviour, police said they were taking pre-emptive measures to crack down on troublemakers. The
festival of colours will be celebrated in Kathmandu on March 26. nepalnews.com
