31 SLC students injured, one killed in road accident

At least 31 students, who were heading home after sitting for the SLC exam, were injured and one of their friends killed in a road accident in Khalanga, Salyan.

Police said the incident took place at around 11 am as a tractor (Ra 1 Ta 897) ferrying the students veered off the road. The deceased has been identified as Mina Yogi (19) of Khalanga.

Local officials said that the 11 of the injured have been rushed to Nepalganj for treatment while others have been sent to Salyan District hospital. nepalnews.com
