NOC projects Rs. 363 m loss for March
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has projected reduction in its loss at Rs. 363 million for the month of March whereas it had projected Rs. 732 million loss earlier.
As per the new price list released by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on March 16, the Nepali state oil monopoly will make profit of Rs. 6.63 per litre in petrol and Rs. 9.16 per litre in kerosene.
Similarly, it will make profit of Rs. 20.24 per litre and Rs. 24.97 per litre in the sales of aviation turbine fuel for domestic and international purposes respectively. However, it will incur loss of Rs. 1.16 per litre in diesel and Rs. 513.14 per cylinder in LPG.
As per the previous revised list sent by IOC, the state oil monopoly had incurred loss of Rs. 5.43 per litre in diesel and Rs. 513.14 per cylinder in LPG. However, it had made profit of Rs. 2.27 per litre in petrol and Rs. 9.16 per litre in kerosene. Nepalnews.com
