Ashok Rai's party to take to streets against Regmi govt
The recently formed Federal Socialist Party has said it is going to launch street protests against the Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi-led government that was formed after an agreement between the four major political parties.
Organising a press conference at the party's central office Wednesday, party chairman Ashok Rai said the formation of the government was unconstitutional and that his party would agitate until there is a new consensus from the meeting of all the political parties registered with the Election Commission.
He also lambasted the four-party decision to reduce the proportional seats in the would-be CA, adding that the party would continue to press the agenda of identity-based federalism. Nepalnews.com
