Ishani Shrestha crowned Miss Nepal

Ishani Shrestha was crowned this year's Miss Nepal' at the grand finale of the annul beauty pageant held at Nepal Academy, Kathmandu, Wednesday night.

Shrestha won the title, leaving 18 other contestants behind. She will represent Nepal in this year's Miss World contest.

Rojisha Shahi Thakuri became the first runner-up while Shritma Shah stood in third position. Thakuri and Shah will also participate in separate international contests, Miss Earth and Miss International, respectively.

Miss Nepal title comes along with a purse of Rs. 50,000, an apartment and a number of product endorsements.
