Police Club clinch Indo-Nepal Invitational Volleyball Tourney

Nepal Police Club (NPC) defeated Western Railway of Gorakhpur, India 3-1 in the final match to clinch the title of Hotel Opera-CMG Indo-Nepal Invitational Volleyball Tournament held in Mahendranagar, Kanchapur, on Wednesday.

With the win, Police bagged Rs. 150,000 while runner-up Western Railway won Rs. 100,000 along with trophies.

Similarly, Yuvaraj Lama, member secretary of the National Sports Council, has also announced a cash prizes of Rs. 5,000 each to the members of the winning team.

Altogether six teams participated in the tournament including three each from Nepal and India. nepalnews.com
