Policemen held on extortion charge presented in court

Three junior police personnel who were arrested for allegedly holding two men hostage in Bouddha four days ago, were presented before the Kathmandu District court on Thursday

Metropolitan Police yesterday arrested Sub-inspectors Raju Bhandari and Rudra Raj Poudel and ASI Prakash Malla on charge of holding Karnadhwoj Limbu and Suryaman Tamang hostage. According to police, they had released the duo for a ransom of Rs 2 lakh.
