Mega Bank's share listed in NEPSE
Mega Bank Nepal Limited’s share has been listed in Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Sunday.
The agreement to list the shares worth Rs 2.33 billion at Rs 100 per share cost price and paid up price was signed by the CEO of Mega Bank Anil Keshary Shah and GM of NEPSE Sitaram Thapaliya amid a function in the capital today.
Out of the total share units of 23.3 million, general public and employees were apportioned a total of over 6.9 million, while the remaining 16.31 million share units were allocated to the promoter shareholders of the bank, said the bank in a statement.
The bank had issued its initial public offering through Nabil Invest, Citzen Investment Trust, NIBL Capital Markets and NMB Capital by floating over 6.9 units of shares equivalent to Rs 690 million which was oversubscribed by over 22 times, the bank added.
These shares have been allocated to a total of 145,645 shareholders.
Meanwhile, the bank recently appointed Nabil Investment Banking as its Share Registrar for easy processing of share related transactions such as ownership transfer of shares, signature verification, splitting of shares, dividend distribution etc. nepalnews.com
