Pakistan Trade Fair underway
The fourth Pakistan Trade Fair kicked off at the United World Trade Centre (WTC) Tripureswor in the capital on Wednesday.
Inaugurating the Fair, Finance Minister Shankar Prasad Koirala expressed commitment to expand bilateral trade relation with Pakistan.
Koirala said that such bilateral trade fair would help boost trade relationship between the two nations. He also expressed that there is a need to review trade agreement between the two countries in order to enhance bilateral trade.
The seven-day event features around 45 stalls exhibiting Pakistani products including leather products, textiles, cosmetics, furniture and home decorations.
At a press meet on Tuesday, Pakistan Ambassador to Nepal Saud Arshad Khosa and Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry CEO Khurshid Barlas had said the trade fair was organised to increase Pakistan-Nepal trade. nepalnews.com
