Agro fair concludes in Humla
The two-day Agro and Trade Entrepreneurship Fair held under the aegis of the Humla Chamber of Commerce and Industry has concluded.
The fair was held with the cooperation of the District Agriculture Development Office, District Livestock Service Office, Humla Development Initiative, LI-BIRD Nepal, HIMALI Project, and Agro Entrepreneurship Centre.
The fair was inaugurated by elderly farmer Singh Bir Rokaya.
Some 407 farmers kept on display their products including vegetables, fruits, grains, liu, feruwa, pakhi and wooden goods during the exhibition period.
Officiating CDO Bam Bahadur KC and NRCS Humla President Nar Bahadur Rokaya jointly gave away Rs. 1,000, Rs. 700 and Rs. 500 respectively and certificates to those who stood first, second and third in the exhibition.
