Bomb blast in Sarlahi
A pressure cooker bomb went off at the District Survey Office in Sarlahi headquarters Malangawa on Friday.
"Five people have been injured in the blast. One of them is seriously injured on his foot," Chief District Officer of Sarlahi, Dinesh Ghimire, told nepalnews.com
The bomb went off at around 11.45 this morning, when a large crowd of service seekers was gathered in the office. The bomb was placed at the gate of the office, Ghimire informed.
Although no one has claimed responsibility for the blast, pamphlets of Akhil Tarai Mukti Morcha was found in the premises. The group was formally known as Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha, and is led by Jaya Krishna Goit.
