NADA Auto Show 2013 concludes
The “NADA Auto Show 2013” concluded successfully here at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu on Monday.
The exhibition was jointly organised by the Nepal Automobile Dealers´ Association (NADA) and Global Exposition and Management Service with a slogan ‘Day out for the family’, intending to offer a comfortable and fun filled day out experience for families, groups and individual visitors.
According to the organisers, around 15,000 two-wheelers and 500 four-wheelers were booked while the event saw footfalls of around 39,000 during the five-day event. However, the oganisers had expected 50,000 visitors.
The expo was extended by one more day as there was a bandh on Thursday. The event was supposed to conclude on Sunday.
Speaking on the closing day ceremony on Monday, Shekhar Golchha, president of NADA, said such event will play a vital role to boost the automobile industry. “However, there is a lack of big exhibition halls to organise more grand events like these.”
Other participating companies also stressed on the limited space to showcase their brands and models.
Besides new models of vehicles, the event showcased new technological developments related to vehicles, spare parts, lubricants, tyres, generators, garage equipments, battery and other accessories.
The event saw participation from the national and international brands from India, China, Korea, Japan, America, Germany and Czech Republic. nepalnews.com
