Election only alternative to end prolonged transitional period country faces: Khanal
CPN (UML) chairperson Jhala Nath Khanal has said there is no alternative to holding the second Constituent Assembly election on November 19, adding that only through election it is possible to end to the prolonged transitional period existing in the country.

Speaking at the National Publicity Meet that was organised keeping in view the upcoming CA election at the CPN (UML) party headquarters in the capital, leader Khanal said that the country is going through a very difficult and challenging juncture as it braces for the second election to CA. He also directed the party’s publicity department to create an election environment favorable to the party so that it can garner the majority seats in the election.
He, however, stressed on the need to strengthen the party’s publicity strategy and make it more effective to create a favorable public opinion as well as image about the party.
Also speaking at the program, senior UML leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and KP Oli said that the party’s agenda and plan should be taken to the people in a more effective manner by the party's publicity department.
They also said that establishing peace in the country and strengthening democracy must be the first priority of the party, adding that UML played a more crucial role than any other party in bringing the poll-opposing parties on board the election process. Nepalnews.com
