No banda in our manifesto: RPP chairman Thapa
Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-N) Kamal Thapa said that the party will announce its commitment to never call for a Nepal banda in its manifesto.
Thapa made the statement in Nepali on social media today using his Twitter account @KTnepal.
“Strikes hinder economic progress of the country and daily life of people. RPP is committed to not call for bandas and we have included this in our manifesto,” said party spokesperson Raja Ram Shrestha, speaking to Nepalnews.com.
Shrestha informed that the party is preparing viciously for the CA election and is in the final stages of announcing candidates. “We had been called for a new election since over three years and have been preparing. In the next 2-3 days, all the names will be announced.”
The party spokesperson said that in order to have a meaningful election all parties must participate in the election. “The four party syndicate has not made enough effort to encourage all parties to participate in this election, ” he added. Nepalnews.com
