The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has decided to take initiative for the construction and operation of Butwal Industrial Corridor under the public private partnership (PPP) model.
The 14th meeting of the FNCCI executive committee on Sunday decided to construct the industrial corridor in coordination with Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
The meeting under the chairmanship of FNCCI president Suraj Vaidya also decided to organise interaction among the private sector, government and experts regarding the tax, revenue and customs issues on October 4 in the capital.
Similarly, the federation also decided to start campaign against the government’s decision to charge tax penalty to Chitwan-based Laxmi Narayan Bastralaya. The federation also termed the government’s decision as a 'gross injustice’. nepalnews.com
