To be practical, pollution generally starts around the office hour. So, before 8:00 am we can go out and exercise and walk along the roadside. What about Yoga?
Yoga is not new. It has been in practice since centuries, has a scientific base and is very good. But today what many swamis and babas are doing is exploiting people on the basis of this age old system and that is wrong. They claim to have a yogic cure for everything from kidney malfunction to gall stones. These are false claims and I don’t believe in them. It has no scientific base. There are many cases where the situation has become worse due to improper practice of yoga.

What could be the balanced diet? How much calorie, what to eat, what not to eat, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian?
What we say, medically, is that the amount of calorie is determined by the need of the body, i.e. your body size, your daily activities and your underlying condition. Normal diet must include breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you have a bit of education about diet and if you have one sitting with the dietician lot of your confusion will be removed. It doesn’t matter if you are vegetarian or non-vegetarian. If you are vegetarian you can compensate protein deficit by increasing the consumption of beans, grams, soy etc. It is good to have honey in you diet. It has been used as an important ingredient in Ayurvedic medicines for ages. It is good for your digestion.
How long should be the gap between having dinner and sleeping or having sex?
There must be two or three hour’s gap between dinner and the time you go to bed. In both cases - digestion and sex - there should be this gap. The only thing about sex is that you must plan it. Sex is not for the sake of sex only; you and your partner must enjoy it. It depends upon the time and mood of both the partners.
What should be the frequency of sex?
There is no hard and fast rule regarding the proper frequency of sex. There are people who have it once a week and they are happy and there are people who have it 14 times a week and still they are unhappy. Sex is a way of fulfilling desire – both mental and physical.
