Doing Business in Nepal

Paying state taxes and donating to the Maoists and Khaoists is not enough to do business in Nepal these days. You must also become a Republican and a believer in certain things as stated below:

 Activities like selling Coca Cola or opening schools are wrong because the country is going Republic. But trading in sandalwood is good because it provides incentives for YCL (Young Cruel Lads?) who supply monetary fuel to run the Maoist party.

 Forget about Pareto efficiency. Now is the time for Prachanda efficiency which is achieved when 1 percent people (Maoist leaders and influential party cadres) become wealthier even if over 95 per cent slip into further poverty.

 A minister can't be trusted to make decisions about his own ministry without taking permission from the party leader or his daughter or wife, if any.

 Girija P. Koirala was a good guy when he brought Maoists into mainstream politics, but he is a bad guy now as he is asking for the details about how the Maoists spent the money provided to them to build guerilla cantonments. He was a good guy when he inducted the Maoists in the government and now he is a bad guy because he tells the Maoists to behave.

 Maoists are apostles of human rights as they have forcefully retained pregnant women, nursing mothers and their children within cantonments.

 The ambassador of the United States should get out of Nepal , and our highest national priority should be to send our people to the US through the DV lottery system.

 The public has a right to know about traffic rules, but to try to know the driving record and the ownership certificate of the vehicle used by comrade Prachanda or other Maoist leaders is not anybody's business.

 You have all the human rights as long as your right does not come into conflict with what the Maoists think.

 We should declare the Republic right away. No need to worry about what sort of Republic it is going to be. There will be plenty of time to think about that later. If need be, we can go in for another war for that. It is not going to be so difficult, as we already have the experience of such a war.

What follows is no laughing matter but serious stuff. Read on:

Prachanda proclaims at a campaign rally, 'Elect me and you'll get a brand-new president.'

'What if we don't elect you?' asks a voice from the crowd.

'Then you'll get the same old king,' Prachanda replies.

"What would happen if Communists rule over the mountains including Mount Everest as they are banned in the Terai and in many rural areas?" Prachanda is asked.

"In a few years the snow in the mountains would be in short supply," is overheard in the crowd before Prachanda speaks.

One of his colleagues asks Prachanda: 'Why is everything here so bad? The economy is deteriorating. What am I to do?'

Prachanda, without pausing for thought, answers: 'Execute the entire government ministers of other parties, and paint the walls of the Parliament red to make all Nepali people rich and happy. (List of Nepali people attached.)
