CAN InfoTech 2008
CAN InfoTech, the annual ICT trade show of the country being organized for the past 13 years by Computer Association of Nepal (CAN), was held at BICC, Kathmandu from January 29 to February 3. The six-day event this year was renamed Logitech CAN InfoTech for the support from Logitech, a Swiss ICT company, and had 279 stalls of national and international leading IT related companies attracting more than 300,000 visitors from across the nation, according to the organisers.
The main attractions of this mega event was the introduction of Logitech’s computer hardware and gaming products, laptops and computer accessories at special prices.
Among the attractions were the world’s smallest laptop from Fujitsu marketed in Nepal by ATC Exim and USB Flash drives of various brands priced at 60 -70 % less than prevailing market rates.
