Businessmen face difficulties due to lack of cash in Taplejung bank Taplejung (RSS): Local businessmen have been facing difficulties due to lack of cash at the Nepal Rastra Bank in Taplejung District. The problem was arisen after a big amount of Rs. 14,000,000 was distributed as pension to the Gorkha-British ex-servicemen. At present, the number of depositors in the bank has declined and the amount needed has not arrived yet, branch manager of the Nepal Rastra Bank Shiva Laxmi Pradhan informed. According to Pradhan, correspondence had been made on December 2 demanding the amount. Only upto 10,000 has been provided by the bank to the depositors who need it urgently. Secretary of the Taplejung Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ammar Shrestha said businessmen have been facing such a problem at a time when it would have been congenial for business. |
