Former finance minister and senior leader of Nepali Congress Dr Ram Sharan Mahat has said his party will accept the new fiscal year's budget if it is brought in accordance with Article 96 A (1) and (2) of the Interim Constitution that suggest that the government can propose a budget equivalent to one third of the previous year’s total expenditure in case of special situation that prevents budget presentation at the parliament.
