The fifth Nepal Automobile Dealers' Association (NADA) Auto Show 2009 concluded on Tuesday with total turnout of more than 30,000 visitors.

A total of 46 companies of four wheelers, two wheelers and auto accessories had participated in the event jointly organised by NADA and Global Event Management Services (GEMS).

According to exhibitors, the event was a huge success from the standpoint of attracting potential customers and the bookings received for family cars.

The show, it is said, also proved highly beneficial for the Chinese and Indian vehicles.

The dealers of Hyundai for Nepal have claimed that i10, i20 and Santro have received the highest bookings. Likewise, Chinese SUV Tiggo and Honda Jazz grabbed attention of many potential customers, it is said. Laxmi Intercontinental had launched i20, the latest model from Hyundai during the auto show.

The demand of four-wheelers in the country is witnessing a gradual rise owing to easy bank finance and growing financial status of middle class. nepalnews.com
