The government collected Rs 22.5 billion revenue by the second month (Bhadra) of the current fiscal year.

According to Ministry of Finance, there has been 30 percent rise in the revenue collection from customs.

The collection is said to be satisfactory in both agriculture and trade sectors.

The government has generated Rs 8 billion from VAT, Rs 3 billion from excise and
Rs 3 billion from income tax.

Similarly, transportation contributed Rs 500 million and Rs 75 billion was collected from registration as revenue.
