RAK Airways, a national Airline of United Arab Emirates (UAE) formally announced startRAK Airways, a national Airline of United Arab Emirates (UAE) formally announced start of its flights operation between Kathmandu and Ras al-Khaimah, the UAE from February 15 on Wednesday.

The airline has also signed an agreement with Nepali Society Travels as its agent in Nepal to operate the flights. The airline has also opened booking both from sales office in Lazimpat and online system.

According to the airline, one way air fares starts at AED 499 (approximately Rs. 11,000) including all taxes while AED 899 for round trip.

The airline is set to operate three flights a week.

Likewise, there are already three UAE-based airlines - Air Arabia, Fly Dubai and Etihad Airways - operating 35 flights a week. nepalnews.com
