The projected monthly loss of the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) is estimated to be Rs. 1.2 billion in February.
As per the new price list sent by the sole Indian oil supplier, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), on Wednesday, NOC will incur a loss of Rs. 14.05 per litre in diesel, Rs. 3.11 per litre in kerosene and Rs. 454.28 per cylinder in cooking gas.
However, NOC will make profit of Rs. 2.59 per litre in petrol and Rs. 16.39 per litre in Air Turbine Fuel (ATF). nepalnews.com
