Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun has urged the World Bank (WB) to make investments in Nepal's hydropower and other potential sectors.
During the meeting with the representatives of the bank at his office on Thursday, FM Pun acquainted the representatives that the government has plans to bring US$ 1 billion foreign investment in the next six months.
Assuring full security of the foreign investment, Pun urged the WB to help bring more foreign investment in Nepal's potential sectors like tourism, agriculture and infrastructure development besides hydropower sector.
WB is also interested to make investment in Nepal's potential sectors like hydropower, said the WB representative in response. nepalnews.com
