Nepal Telecom (NT) has announced discount offers in its various services and SIM Cards.

On the occasion of its 8th anniversary on Sunday, the state-owned telecommunications has offered its 3D Prepaid SIM Card at Rs. 300. The price is reduced from Rs. 2,500.

Amar Nath Singh, managing director of NT, said that the company has also reduced charges of EVDO services under the CDMA technology to Rs. 300 from Rs. 2,500 effective from February 13.

Singh also informed that the company has revised the deposit/credit limit of PSTN/CDMA Post-paid services to Rs. 750 from Rs.1,500. The installation and registration charge for the PSTN/CDMA Post-paid will be free for three month, he added.

The company has also reduced the download cost of CRBT to Rs. 1 from Rs. 3 while relocation charge of PSTN services has been reduced to Rs. 320 from Rs. 565.

Likewise, the company has reduced the tariff to Rs.1.75 per minute for three months for dialing America and Canada through 1424 access code.

On the occasion, the company also announced that its profit has increased by 12.48 percent registering Rs. 12.12 billion during the current fiscal year. nepalnews.com
