Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai said that digital signature would help to maintain good governance and control cyber crimes.
PM Bhattarai made such remarks on the occasion of official launching of electronic digital signature developed by the Office of the Controller of Certification (OCC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) on Thursday.
On the occasion, PM Bhattarai also handed over the key of digital signature to chief of OCC Rajan Raj Pant, saying that the government is committed in boosting information and technologies along with cyber policy.
Saying that information and technology have vital role for the socio-economic development, Minister for Science and Technology Kalpana Dhamala said that digital signature would help boost e-trade. nepalnews.com
