The monthly projected loss of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased to over Rs. 1.34 billion from the previous monthly loss of Rs. 1.15 billion.
According to the new price list sent by the sole Indian oil supplier, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on March 15, the NOC will incur a loss of Rs. 14.03 per litre in diesel, Rs. 563.40 per cylinder in cooking gas.
However, the corporation is making profit in petrol, kerosene and aviation turbine fuel (duty paid) by Rs. 0.26 per litre, Rs. 1.26 per litre and 20.30 per litre, respectively. nepalnews.com
