Western Regional Hotel Association is organising Ninth Fewa New Year Festival- 2012 from April 10.

The five-day festival is being organised on the occasion of Nepali New Year with an aim of boosting domestic tourism in the famous tourism hub in west, Pokhara.

Organising a press conference in Kathmandu on Sunday, Association informed that the festival will feature some 60 stalls in Basundhara Park including 15 food stalls and some 45 stalls of tourism, agriculture, cultural and trade.

The hotels and restaurants will also offer 30 percent discount in accommodation and 10 to 15 percent discounts in various food items, according to the Association.

The organiser has expected to transaction of nearly Rs. 4 million during the festival. nepalnews.com
