The Birgunj Custom Office, one of Nepal's main revenue collection centre, has raised revenue more than the expected target up to the end of Chaitra (April 12) in the current fiscal year.
The office has collected revenue of around Rs. 37.152 billion out of the target of Rs. 35.686 billion till the month of Chaitra in the fiscal year 2068-69 BS.
It is an increase by four per cent.
According to Birgunj Custom Office, the revenue collection includes Rs. 12.769 billion from costume duty, Rs. 17.454 billion from Value Added Tax, Rs. 6.007 billion from excise duty. Nepalnews.com
