NEPSE gains 20 pts after continuous plunge

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) soared by 19.86 points on the last day of trading day on Thursday after continuously plunging to 384.38

points on Wednesday, this week. The index reached 404 points at the end of the trading.

All the sub-indices posted positive gain – banking gained 30.7 points, development bank 2.3 points, hydropower 12.88 points, finance 1.4

points, insurance 7.2 points and other groups 10.57 points, today.

The secondary stock market had plunged by 2.47 points on Sunday and 18.26 points on Monday and 20.35 points on Wednesday. The market remained

closed on Tuesday due to public holiday.

The NEPSE also registered a turnover of over Rs. 45.8 million today while the same amount was Rs. 29.7 million on Thursday, Rs. 101.3 million

on Monday and Rs 152.9 million Sunday. nepalnews.com
